Get to know some of your Miss USA 2018 contestants


Miss Maine USA – Marina Gray 

Marina is a sergeant in the United States ARMY working with transportation and distribution of JP8 for vehicles and helicopters and received Non-Commissioned Officer of the year at her Unit. 

She is very passionate about cinematography and filmmaking and has hopes to go to graduate school and obtain a Masters Degree in Documentary Production.

She skipped a year of high school and got accepted to three colleges at the age of 16! 

Miss Alabama USA – Hannah Brown 

She has never had a pb&j sandwich! (not allergy related)

Hannah loves to make people smile and considers “professional lip syncing” one of her many talents.

She works as an interior designer at Gracefully Done Designs and enjoys getting to work with different textures and materials and seeing how different styles can complement each other to create something fresh and new. She feels that it’s like fashion for the home.

Miss New Jersey USA – Alexa Noone

Alexa has a first degree black belt in judo.

She has visited more than 25 countries and loves to travel internationally- one of her most adventurous solo trips was to Nicaragua where she was able to experience the culture of her ancestors. 

She is currently putting herself through school as she pursues a degree in Criminal Justice.

Miss Alaska USA – Brooke Johnson

Brooke played basketball most of her life and is now an honorary Harlem Globetrotter after playing in a game with them as a celebrity guest. 

She is a competitive Latin dancer and attends salsa and bachata festivals across the country.

As the first woman photojournalist in more than 34 years at Coastal Television in Anchorage, she has the opportunity to be first on the scene for groundbreaking news and events on a daily basis. 

Miss South Dakota USA- Madison Nipe 

She is majoring in Biology with hopes to attend dental school and is the president of the Biology Club at the University of South Dakota.

Madison was named after the mermaid the move “Splash”, who took her name from Madison Avenue in New York. 

She is very passionate about the issue of women’s heart health, something she became involved with through her sorority. 

Miss Florida USA – Genesis Davila

Genesis’ best friend is a 78-year-old lady. Her name is Luisa and she is also her grandmother. 

She has lived in three of the four regions in the US and one of the US Territories. 

After almost a year in disaster relief efforts, she found her calling to pursue a graduate degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership and plans to utilize her degree to leverage herself as the leader of her nonprofit organization that specializes in providing primary needs to those affected by natural disasters. 

Miss Ohio USA – Deneen Penn 

Deneen aspires to follow her entrepreneurial spirit and start her own architecture firm. 

She is a Master Beekeeper and is not afraid of 60,000 little worker bees coming towards her! She says she loves the tranquility beekeeping provides and has her own business producing and selling organic honey. 

She is passionate about supporting local business whic led her to establishing her program, “The Worker Bee”, where she helps young, aspiring entrepreneurs build successful companies of their own. 

Miss Lousiana USA – Lauren Vizza

Lauren is a Shreveport local and is so excited to be competing in her hometown! 

She is the morning news anchor at KTAL NBC 6 and loves waking her viewers with a smile. 

She loves cooking with her mom and trying out new recipes in her free time. Her rescue dog, Lacey, loves being her “official taste tester.” 

Miss South Carolina USA – Tori Sizemore 

Tori is the oldest of seven kids; three biological brothers and three adopted little sisters. 

She has been an equestrian for 15 years, practicing show jumping, dressage and eventing. She  credits her years of riding for giving her the ability to fall, dust herself off, and finish her ride. 

Despite the fact that she grew up wrestling with her three rowdy brothers, Tori has never broken a bone! 

Miss Maryland USA – Brittinay Nicolette 

She has a goal to eat a donut from a local donut shop in every state. She calls it “Donuts Across America.” 

She regularly works in the operating room for the purpose of organ recovery but, funnily enough, she faints at the sight of her own blood. 

Brittinay was a competitive figure and synchronized skater from ages 7 to 16. 

Miss Hawaii USA – Julianne Chu 

Julianne is first generation Chinese. 

She is a full time certified special education teacher in Honolulu and works with a diverse group of second graders to help them reach their goals at their own pace. 

When she isn’t teaching, she still enjoys spending time with children as a Mulan impersonator at events and birthday parties. 

Miss Wyoming USA – Callie Bishop 

Callie is a yoga teacher and places a large importance on living a healthy and balance lifestyle, starting each morning with positive affirmations. 

Growing up, her nickname was “Callie the Carnivore” and she was known for eating bacon every single day of her college career, now, she is a hard core vegetarian! 

She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater and Dance from the University of Wyoming and still loves to sing and dance. 

Miss Kentucky USA – Braea Tilford

She is a life and style blogger and launched her blog, braea.com, in August 2015. She uses her platform to inspire and empower her readers to look and feel magical on the inside and out. 

Braea is a twin and has a fraternal twin brother who is 1.5 hours older than her!

When she was a little girl, she was infatuated with Christina Aguilera and wanted to pursue an acting and singing career.

Miss Vermont USA – Maia-Jena Allo 

She is extremely passionate about skydiving and has skydived from 11 different aircrafts, and counting! In the future, she plans on competing for world records and titles in the sport. 

Maia-Jena studied the French language for 6 years in school. 

In her free time, she enjoys training her deaf rescue dog, hiking and baking sweet treats.

Miss Texas USA – Logan Lester 

Logan describes herself as a “Girl on Fire” as she graduated high school in 3 years and was a college graduate by 21. 

She loves food and has a food account on Instagram called @Lololovesqueso! 

This past year, Logan was able to learn how to drive a McLaren sports car on a race track. Her dad was once a professional motocross racer so the fast thrill is in her blood!
