Catriona Elisa Gray (born 6 January 1994) is an Australian–Filipino TV Host, singer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss World Philippines 2016 and placed as a Top 5 Finalist in Miss World 2016, finishing as the Third Runner-up.
As an only child Gray spent most of her time participating in extra curricular such as Art, Drama, Math and Science Extension classes along with Karate, Dance and Singing lessons which led her to having her love of arts from a young age. She has a Masters Certificate in Music Theory from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Catriona also has a Certificate II in Outdoor Recreation and also starred in local Musical productions such as Miss Saigon along with State Eisteddfods for voice. She sings, plays the guitar and has a black belt in Choi Kwang Do.
Catriona was the lead singer of her school’s jazz band along with sport captain. After finishing high school studies in Australia, she made the decision to move to Manila, Philippines. Within a few months of arriving in Manila, and still just 18, she became recognised as one of the top commercial models in the Philippines. Catriona is named after her paternal grandmother, Catherine Gray nee Ross, who migrated to Western Australia from Scotland in 1952 and was an accomplished local painter.
