Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez made a triumphant return to the Philippines on Monday after taking the crown at the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant.
At her homecoming party at Annabel’s restaurant in Quezon City, Wyn said she believes that her victory in Bolivia is “destiny.”
“Speaking of destiny, I was talking to my fellow beauty queen si Glaiza. Sabi nga nila ang destiny, kahit gaano mo bigay yung 100 percent mo sa isang bagay, kung hindi para sa ‘yo, hindi para sa ‘yo. So, I believe in destiny,” she said.
Wyn also said that she is convinced that the law of attraction worked in her case.
“The more you think about it, the more you are positive about something, the more you imagine wearing a crown, [by the] law of attraction it will come to you,” she said.
Wyn also dedicated her win to her home country.
“I’m happy to be here wearing the crown, para sa Pilipinas, para sa inyo po lahat ‘to,” she said.
After finishing in the Top 15 at the 2015 Binibining Pilipinas contest, Wyn returned to the pageant circuit in 2017 and won the Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas crown at the Miss World Philippines competition.
She will have a homecoming parade in Parañaque City on November 20.
The replay of the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant will be aired on GMA News TV on November 19 at 9 p.m. (Source by gmanetwork.com)
